★★★★ “A generous and inclusive performer, drawing frequent laughs from start to finish.” - Glam Adelaide

Sharp Irish wit meets a therapist’s eye in a show about the strange little stories we tell ourselves to get through the day - and the deeply suspicious phrase: “You’ll be grand.”

Sean Quinn has spent years listening to people talk about anxiety, overthinking, avoidance, family dysfunction and the quiet terror of trying to appear normal.

Part stand-up, part emotional damage report, this is a show about therapy language, Irish emotional repression, cognitive distortions and the fine line between genuine insight and simply having a very organised breakdown.

From growing up in Newry, Ireland, to building a life in Australia, Sean explores family, identity and the questionable coping strategies passed down through generations — usually accompanied by the reassuring words: “Ah, sure, you’ll be grand.”

Sean has performed across Australia, including Adelaide Fringe, Perth FRINGE WORLD and Melbourne International Comedy Festival. His comedy combines storytelling, self-deprecation and a warm but forensic eye for human nonsense.

Come along if you’ve ever said “I’m fine” while very clearly not being fine.

You’ll laugh. You might reflect. You may even identify an unhelpful thinking pattern.

But don’t worry.

You’ll be grand.
